It will be 61 years of independence of India on15th August 08. Through my blog I want to pay tribute to the sacrifices of all those Indians who dreamed about Independent India during 200 years of British rule. Every second of their life was praying for freedom. Their dreams became our reality because of their efforts.
But how many people actually care about it. We make our country roads dirty to keep our houses clean and then block the nose to avoid stink and then curse others for throwing the garbage on road. We keep doing what others do and wait if others stop doing it. That day never comes when everyone stop doing it.
The cleaner staff in India is very active they always keep cleaning the main roads and colony roads whenever possible. We all should help them by throwing the junk at correct place. The main difficulty comes when people litter in open areas like a water passage, empty plots, road sides etc. Birds and animals are free to party over it and carry things all over the surroundings. In such cases it is difficult for the cleaner to collect the trash and destroy or recycle it. In this situation the government can also help in making a place for every street where people can leave their garbage.
I request all my fellow Indians, who reside in India and care for the freedom, achieved by our freedom fighters. Keep your house clean but at the same keep your country clean. Don’t wait for others to do it, let others see you and do it.
Neat and clean India will lead to a healthy and powerful India.
Even I dream like our freedom revolutionists. I want to see a clean India, and I will always try from my side to keep it clean and request others to do it. I hope it will not take another 200 years for it.
